Nakuru is a shallow soda lake and an bird
watching safari enthusiasts paradise, the lake
boasts over 400 recorded bird species, the most
famous being the pink flamingo, North of Nakuru
is Lake Bogoria. It too supports a great number
of birds. The park is home to the wonderful
greater kudu a mighty animal with its splendid
spiraling horns.

Joint mass of Tsavo West and Tsavo East National
Parks forms one of the largest National parks in
the world. Tsavo East offers a vast and untapped
arena of arid bush which is washed by azure and
emerald meandering of Galana River while
Amboseli has a mixed topography of plains,
acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps and
marshes. This diversity, along with a long dry
season, ensures excellent viewing of the large
concentrations of African animals living in this
natural habitat.
The
Masai Mara Game Reserve is arguably Kenya’s
most popular game sanctuary. It is the most
famous and most visited game reserve in Kenya.
A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration
of millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle
from Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border
and the Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing
fields from late June. The dramatic crossing of
the river and the preying on the migrants by
predators can be viewed from early July to
August.
